Expect small groups up to 8 riders with a female guide leading the way on the road. The reason is to ensure the best riding. In such a way we can garantee you the best quality and attention. If there are more guests, it is better a split-up in two groups during the daily rides.
When you’re riding you’ll always have at least one female guide on the road with the group.
The guide leads the way on the road giving you the flexibility to ride at your own pace expecially along the climbs. There is no vehicle support.
Each day there are two or more ride options available each varying in distance and difficulty.
If you would prefer your rides include more distance, less distance or different climbs then please contact us, we are willing to provide you with rides that meet all your needs. We can change places, distances and climbs if all the people on the same tour agree.
You can see the CLIMBING SEGMENTS ON STRAVA in the Italian and Swiss Lake District on Google Maps.
Please note that all routes are subject to change depending on local conditions.

Why a cycling training camp for women only is so special:
- It creates a sense of community between women,
- Cycling with other women has been proven to improve confidence and motivation,
- Women tend to be much more supportive of one another.
Even if you’re used to riding with the guys, trying an all-women event can be an incredibly empowering experience and a great way to meet other inspiring ladies. So, whether you’re looking to try something new or get a friend into cycling, this is a great opportunity.
It doesn’t matter what ability level you are, what kit you wear or what bike you ride. Anything with wheels, comfy clothes and a helmet is all you need to get started.
Whether you are a recreational rider, new to racing, or a seasoned veteran, the camp will take you to the next level.
A women's cycling camp between Italy and Switzerland
The region is situated on the Southern most end of the Alps the area, among Lombardy (Italy), Piedmont (Italy) and Canton of Ticino (Italian speaking part of Switzerland) and it's probably best known for it’s wonderful lakes and mild Mediterranean climate.
Gorgeous lakeside towns with more than a hint of glamour line the shores of Lakes Lugano, Maggiore and Como, so the area has gained something of a reputation as a rich person’s playground, quite possibly also thanks to its close proximity to fashion capital Milan.
But the region is not actually all about flashy wealth. It’s also a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding mountains and forests as getting off the beaten track and into the wilderness doesn’t take long at all.
The roads following the lakes can get a little busy in the height of summer but there are many easy to access climbs that take you away from the shoreline and deliver views and seclusion between Italy and Switzerland.
The area is well known to European-based Aussie riders. The AIS European Training Centre is located at Gavirate on the the shore of Lake Varese.
